Cocoa Mulch, which is sold by Target, Foreman's Garden Supply and other garden supply stores, contains a lethal ingredient called theobromine. Theobromine in high enough quantities is lethal to dogs and cats. It smells like chocolate and really attracts dogs. Several deaths have already occurred in the last 2-3 weeks. This mulch has no pet health warnings printed on the label.
